Shima is a city located in the Mie Prefecture of Japan. It covers a total area of 179.67 square kilometers (69.37 sq mi) and has a population density of approximately 251 persons per square kilometer.
As of January 31, 2024, the city had an estimated population of 45,073 residents living in 22,511 households. The city is notable for hosting the 2016 G7 Summit.
