Hayama is a town situated in the Kanagawa Prefecture on the island of Honshū in Japan. It covers a total area of 17.06 square kilometers and maintains a population density of approximately 1,900 people per square kilometer.
The town is notable for its coastal location and historical significance regarding the Japanese Imperial Family. Since 1894, the Imperial Family has maintained a residence in the area known as the seaside Hayama Imperial Villa.
