Hiragi is a city located in the Kagawa Prefecture of Japan. The name "Hiragi" is also associated with the *Osmanthus heterophyllus*, a species of flowering plant in the olive family Oleaceae. This plant, commonly known as holly osmanthus or false holly, is native to eastern Asia, specifically central and southern Japan and Taiwan.
