Tamba-Sasayama, formerly known as Sasayama, is a city located in the central eastern part of the Hyōgo Prefecture in Japan. The city covers a total area of 377.59 square kilometres (145.79 sq mi).
As of March 31, 2022, the city had an estimated population of 40,050 people living in 17,523 households. The recorded population density for the area is 110 persons per square kilometre.
