Tamba-Sasayama, formerly known simply as Sasayama, is a city located in the central eastern part of the Hyōgo Prefecture in Japan. The municipality covers a total area of 377.59 square kilometers (145.79 sq mi).
As of March 31, 2022, the city had an estimated population of 40,050 residents living in 17,523 households. The area maintains a population density of approximately 110 persons per square kilometer.
