Nishiwaki is a city located in the Hyōgo Prefecture of Japan. It covers a total area of 132.44 square kilometers and has an estimated population of approximately 39,001 people across 17,210 households as of May 2022.
The city is notably positioned at the intersection of the 135° East meridian and the 35° North parallel. Due to this geographic location, Nishiwaki refers to itself as "The Navel of Japan." The city features Nihon no Heso Park, which marks the center of the nation.
