Kutchan is a town in Shiribeshi Subprefecture, Hokkaido, Japan. It lies slightly north of the volcano Mount Yōtei and is approximately 50 kilometers west of Sapporo.
The subprefecture government offices are located in Kutchan, making it the capital of Shiribeshi Subprefecture.
