Gujo

Gujō is a city located in the Gifu Prefecture of Japan. It covers a total area of 851.21 square kilometers (328.65 sq mi). As of February 1, 2019, the city had an estimated population of 41,858 people living in 15,341 households, resulting in a population density of approximately 41 persons per square kilometer.

The city includes the area of Gujo Hachiman, which functioned as an independent town until it was incorporated into the city in 2004. This specific district is notable for hosting the Gujo Odori, a large and well-known summer Bon odori festival.
