Motomiya is a city situated in the north-central region of Fukushima Prefecture in Japan. It covers a total area of 88.02 square kilometers (33.98 square miles) and maintains a population density of approximately 350 persons per square kilometer.
As of March 1, 2020, the city had an estimated population of 30,401 residents living in 10,680 households. Motomiya is distinguished as the smallest city within Fukushima Prefecture in terms of both total land area and population size.
