Hanawa

Hanawa is a Japanese singer and comedian who was raised in Saga City. He began his career in 1997 and became known throughout the 2000s for incorporating a bass guitar into his comedy performances.

He gained national prominence in 2003 following the release of a comical song regarding the oddities of Saga Prefecture. This exposure led to his appearance on NHK's 54th annual Red and White singing contest by the end of that year. His music was subsequently utilized for various commercials and as corporate songs.

In addition to producing his own original music, Hanawa has performed and worked alongside musical groups such as Fudanjuku.
