Masi

Italy

Masi is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Padua, in the Veneto region of northern Italy. It is located in the eastern part of the Po Valley, roughly 70 kilometres (43 mi) southwest of Venice and about 45 kilometres (28 mi) southwest of Padua, the provincial capital.

As a comune, Masi is the basic unit of local government in Italy, encompassing a central settlement and the surrounding countryside within defined administrative boundaries. Its position in the Province of Padua places it within one of the Veneto's more densely settled agricultural plains, though the municipality itself is a small centre rather than a major urban area.

The town is not among the Veneto's prominent tourist destinations, and its significance lies chiefly in its status as one of the many small municipalities that make up the province's rural fabric between the larger centres of Padua and the Euganean Hills area to the north.
