Gambellara is a town and comune in the province of Vicenza, in the Veneto region of northern Italy. It is situated northwest of European route E70, a major east–west highway corridor that runs across northern Italy.
As a comune, Gambellara is a basic administrative unit of local government, encompassing the town itself and its surrounding territory within the province of Vicenza. The province forms part of the Veneto, one of Italy's twenty regions, whose capital is Venice.
The town shares its name with the Gambellara wine area, a designated production zone in the Vicenza hills known for white wines. Its position in the foothills between the plains of the Veneto and the pre-Alpine zone places it within a landscape of vineyards and rolling terrain typical of the province's northern reaches.
