Altissimo is a comune (municipality) in the province of Vicenza, in the Veneto region of northern Italy. It is situated in the hills of the Chiampo valley, a landscape in the eastern part of the province between the Lessini mountains and the upper Vicentine plain.
As a comune, Altissimo is the basic unit of local government in Italy, administering its own territory and population within the wider provincial and regional structure. Its position in the Chiampo valley places it among the hill towns of the area rather than the flatlands of the Veneto plain.
