Rhêmes-Saint-Georges is a town and comune in the Aosta Valley region of north-western Italy. It is one of the small municipalities that make up this mountainous, bilingual region, which borders France and Switzerland.
The comune is situated in the Rhêmes Valley, a side valley of the Aosta Valley, and lies at the lower end of that valley near where it meets the main Dora Baltea valley. The surrounding landscape is alpine, with the town set among the high peaks of the Graian Alps.
Like other comuni in the Aosta Valley, Rhêmes-Saint-Georges is officially bilingual in Italian and French. It is a minor administrative centre rather than a major tourist destination, and its population is small.
