Hône is a town and comune in the Aosta Valley region of north-western Italy. It is located in the lower part of the valley, in the Alpine area of the country's far north-west.
As a comune, Hône is one of the many small municipalities that make up the Aosta Valley, Italy's smallest region by area and its only region with a special autonomous status. The Aosta Valley is a bilingual region where Italian and French are both used, and it is known for its Alpine setting, bordered by France to the west and Switzerland to the north.
Hône sits in the valley of the Dora Baltea, the river that runs through the Aosta Valley from the Mont Blanc massif toward the Po plain. The town lies in the lower valley, south of the regional capital, Aosta.
