Valverde is a comune, or municipality, situated in the Metropolitan City of Catania within the Sicily region of Italy. It is located approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) northeast of the city of Catania.
The municipality is positioned roughly 170 kilometres (110 mi) southeast of Palermo. It serves as a local administrative division within the Sicilian landscape.
