Gravina di Catania is a town and comune located in the Metropolitan City of Catania within the autonomous island region of Sicily, Italy. It is situated approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north of the city of Catania and roughly 160 kilometres (99 mi) southeast of Palermo.
The municipality has a population of 25,330 inhabitants. It serves as a local administrative center within its namesake metropolitan district.
