Ussassai is a village and comune (municipality) in the Province of Ogliastra in Sardinia, Italy. Located approximately 70 kilometres northeast of Cagliari and 25 kilometres southwest of Tortolì, it sits in the eastern part of the island. The municipality has a population of 432 inhabitants.
As a small comune in the Ogliastra region, Ussassai represents one of Sardinia's lesser-known municipalities, characteristic of the rural inland settlements found throughout the autonomous island region.
