Chiesanuova is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Turin, in the Italian region of Piedmont. It is located about 40 kilometres (25 mi) north of Turin, the regional and metropolitan capital.
As a comune, Chiesanuova is one of the basic administrative divisions of local government in Italy, forming part of the Metropolitan City of Turin within Piedmont, in the country's northwest. The name Chiesanuova is shared by several other places in Italy, including a municipality in the province of Padua and a settlement in San Marino; the Piedmontese comune described here is distinct from those.
Its position roughly 40 kilometres north of Turin places it in the northern part of the metropolitan area, within the wider Piedmont region that borders France and Switzerland.
