Ceresole Alba is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo, within the Piedmont region of northern Italy. It is located about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southeast of Turin and about 50 kilometres (31 mi) northeast of Cuneo, placing it in the plains of the Po Valley between the provincial capital and the Turin metropolitan area.
As a comune, Ceresole Alba is the basic administrative unit of local government in Italy, responsible for municipal services for its resident population. The settlement lies in a predominantly agricultural part of Piedmont, a region known for its farming and food production.
The town should not be confused with other places bearing the name Ceresole, including the comune of Ceresole Reale in the Metropolitan City of Turin, which lies in the Alpine valleys to the northwest.
