Barolo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo, in the Italian region of Piedmont. It is located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) southeast of Turin and about 40 kilometres (25 mi) northeast of Cuneo.
As of 30 April 2009, the comune had a population of 750 and covered an area of 5.6 square kilometres (2.2 sq mi).
