Botta

Italy

Botta is a comune (municipality) in the province of Bergamo, in the Lombardy region of northern Italy. It is a small settlement located in the hilly area of the province, within the Alpine foothills that characterise much of this part of Lombardy.

Like many municipalities in the region, Botta is a minor administrative entity centred on a historic village core. The surrounding territory is typical of the Bergamasque landscape, with a mix of residential buildings, farmland, and wooded slopes. Its position in the province places it within easy reach of the city of Bergamo and the wider network of towns in the Lombard plain and pre-Alpine valleys.

Botta remains a quiet, little-known locality, and detailed historical or cultural information about the comune is limited. It is best understood as one of the many small Italian municipalities that make up the fabric of rural Lombardy, rather than as a major destination in its own right.
