Aurisina is a town in the karst area of the comune of Duino-Aurisina, near Trieste, in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region of Italy. It lies about 15 kilometres northwest of Trieste. The surrounding area is a region with a Slovene minority population.
According to the 2003 census, Aurisina had a total of 2,406 inhabitants, of whom 60 per cent were Slovenes. The town is situated in the karst part of its comune, a limestone plateau landscape characteristic of the area around Trieste.
