Bova is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Reggio Calabria, in the Italian region of Calabria. It lies about 120 kilometres (75 mi) southwest of Catanzaro, the regional capital, and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) southeast of the city of Reggio Calabria.
The town is one of the Greek-Bovesian speaking villages that make up Bovesia, one of the two Griko-speaking areas of southern Italy. Griko is a variety of Greek still spoken in these communities, and Bova is among the localities where this linguistic heritage survives.
Bova is also included in the association I Borghi più belli d'Italia, which lists small Italian towns noted for their historic and artistic character.
