Villa Sant'Angelo is a comune and town in the province of L'Aquila, in the Abruzzo region of Italy. It is located in the Aterno River valley, near the point where the Sirente and Gran Sasso mountain ranges converge.
The town shares many of its municipal functions with neighbouring villages through cooperative arrangements, forming part of the Comunità Montana Amiternina. This inter-municipal body serves the mountainous area around Amiternum in the province of L'Aquila.
Its position in the Aterno valley places it within the broader landscape of the Abruzzo Apennines, between two of the region's best-known massifs, the Sirente and the Gran Sasso.
