Ari is a town and comune in the province of Chieti, in the Abruzzo region of south-eastern Italy. It is one of the smaller municipalities within its province, situated in the hilly terrain that characterises much of inland Abruzzo.
Like other comuni in the area, Ari is administered as a local municipality and forms part of the wider administrative and cultural landscape of the Chieti province. The surrounding region is known for its hill towns and agricultural countryside, though Ari itself is a minor centre rather than a major destination.
