Eqbaliyeh is a city located in the Central District of Qazvin County within the Qazvin province of Iran. It covers an area of approximately 47.3 square kilometers and is recognized as one of the older cities in the region.
The city is situated 5 kilometers southwest of Qazvin city, positioned along the main road connecting Qazvin to Hamedan and Zanjan. Originally known as the village of Soltanabad, it was officially converted into the city of Eqbaliyeh in 1991.
