El'ad is a city located in the Central District of Israel. Situated approximately 25 kilometers east of Tel Aviv, it lies on Route 444 between the locations of Rosh HaAyin and Shoham. The name El'ad translates to "Forever God" in Hebrew.
Established in the 1990s, the city was specifically developed to accommodate a Haredi (ultra-Orthodox) population as well as a Religious Zionist Jewish community. It holds the distinction of being the only locality in Israel officially designated as a religious municipality. As of 2024, the city has a population of 50,846.
The city is characterized by its strong religious identity and community-oriented focus.
