Ofakim is a city in the Southern District of Israel, located about 20 kilometers (12.4 miles) west of Beersheba. It is situated in the northern Negev region of the country.
The city achieved municipal status in 1955. It covers an area of approximately 10,000 dunams. In 2024, Ofakim had a population of 39,893.
