Youghal is a seaside resort town located in County Cork, Ireland, situated on the estuary of the River Blackwater. The town occupies a steep riverbank and has developed with a characteristically long and narrow layout as a result of this geography. As a former military and economic centre, Youghal played a significant role in Irish history before becoming established as a modern resort destination.

According to the 2022 census, Youghal had a population of 8,564 residents. The town is located within a civil parish of the same name and continues to serve as a notable settlement along the Cork coastline.
