Ciomas is a town and administrative district (kecamatan) in Bogor Regency, West Java, Indonesia. Despite the subject line above, the source material describes Ciomas as located in West Java, not in the Banten region; it lies east of the provincial border with Banten Province.
The district sits about 21 kilometres southwest of the regency capital, Cibinong, and roughly 3 kilometres west of the city centre of Bogor. Although it falls outside Bogor's official city boundary, Ciomas is effectively an integral part of the city. It borders districts of Bogor City as well as other districts of Bogor Regency.
Ciomas covers an area of 16.07 square kilometres. Its population was 149,167 at the 2010 Census and 170,486 at the 2020 Census, with an official estimate of 166,220 as at mid 2024.
