Brela is a municipality located in Split-Dalmatia County in the Dalmatian region of Croatia. Situated on the Adriatic coastline approximately 15 kilometres northwest of Makarska, the municipality comprises two villages: Brela and Gornja Brela. As of 2021, the municipality had a total population of 1,626 residents.
The settlement is positioned along the Croatian Adriatic coast, making it part of the popular Dalmatian coastal region that attracts visitors to the area. Its proximity to Makarska, a larger coastal town, places Brela within an accessible portion of the Dalmatian littoral.
