Quimistán is a municipality in the Santa Bárbara Department of Honduras. It covers an area of 745.3 square kilometres (287.8 square miles).
According to the 2013 national census, Quimistán had a population of 47,993 inhabitants, making it the most populous municipality in Santa Bárbara department.
