Asan is a census-designated place (CDP) and community located along the western coast of Guam, a U.S. territory in the Pacific Ocean. It is part of the village of Asan-Maina, which also comprises the communities of Maina and Nimitz Hill Annex.
Asan is historically significant as the site of the northern invasion beach used by the United States during the retaking of Guam in 1944 during World War II. This beach landing was a key military operation in the Pacific campaign.
