Galatsi

Galatsi is a town located in the Attica region of Greece. It serves as a northern suburb of the Athens agglomeration and functions as a municipality with a total area of 4.026 km2.

Historically, the area was primarily composed of farmlands until the mid-20th century. Due to the continuous expansion of the Greek capital, Galatsi underwent rapid urbanization and is now situated in the center of the Athens agglomeration.
