Dunkwa, also known as Dunkwa-On-Offin, is a town in the Central Region of southern Ghana. It serves as the capital of the Upper Denkyira East Municipal District.
The town had a settlement population of 33,379 people as of 2013. Its name is commonly shortened from Dunkwa-On-Offin, a reference to its location on the Offin River.
