Nelson is a town and civil parish located in the Borough of Pendle within the county of Lancashire, England. It is situated approximately 3 miles (5 km) north of Burnley and 2 miles (3 km) south-west of Colne.
The settlement developed as a mill town during the Industrial Revolution. As of 2021, the population of Nelson was recorded at 33,617.
