Tervola is a municipality in Finland, located in the province of Lapland in the northern part of the country. It is a sparsely populated area, with a population of 2,837 as of 31 December 2025.
The municipality covers a total area of 1,592.03 square kilometres (614.69 square miles), of which 32.66 square kilometres (12.61 square miles) is water. Its population density is 1.82 inhabitants per square kilometre (4.7 per square mile), reflecting the low population typical of the Lapland region.
