Veteli

Finland

Veteli is a municipality of Finland, located in the Central Ostrobothnia region on the country's western coast. It is one of the smaller municipalities in the region, situated inland from the Gulf of Bothnia in an area characterised by flat, low-lying terrain, rivers and extensive marshland typical of Ostrobothnian landscapes.

Like much of Central Ostrobothnia, the area around Veteli is predominantly Finnish-speaking, and the municipality's economy and settlement patterns have traditionally been tied to agriculture and forestry. The wider region is known for its rural character and sparse population outside a handful of small urban centres.

Veteli is administered as a single municipality with its own local government, and it forms part of the broader Central Ostrobothnia administrative and cultural area. Detailed information on its history, population and specific attractions is limited in readily available general sources.
