Urjala is a municipality of Finland, located in the Pirkanmaa region near the town of Forssa. It covers an area of 505.37 square kilometres (195.12 sq mi), of which 30.16 square kilometres (11.64 sq mi) is water.
The municipality has a population of 4,440, giving it a population density of 9.34 inhabitants per square kilometre (24.2/sq mi).
