Uusikaupunki is a town and municipality located in the Southwest Finland region of Finland. It is situated approximately 71 kilometres northwest of Turku and 97 kilometres south of Pori.
The municipality covers an area of 551.65 square kilometres, which includes 49.04 square kilometres of inland water. As of current records, the population stands at 14,783 residents, resulting in a population density of 29.38 inhabitants per square kilometre.
