Kyroe

Finland

Kyroe is a locality in the Southwest Finland region of Finland. It lies within the administrative area of the municipality of Pöytyä, in the south-western part of the country.

The settlement's modern administrative history is tied to the former municipality of Karinainen, which was merged into Pöytyä at the beginning of 2005. Kyroe therefore forms part of Pöytyä's present-day territory rather than constituting a municipality in its own right.

Like much of the surrounding inland countryside of Southwest Finland, the area is rural in character, situated in a region whose landscape and settlement patterns are typical of the Finnish south-west. Detailed published information about Kyroe specifically is limited, and the locality is chiefly documented through the municipal merger that brought it within Pöytyä.
