Kimito is a former municipality of Finland, located in the Southwest Finland region. It lies on Kimito island, where it was one of four municipalities prior to its dissolution, alongside Västanfjärd, Dragsfjärd and Halikko.
On January 1, 2009, Kimito was consolidated with Dragsfjärd and Västanfjärd to form the new municipality of Kimitoön. After that date it ceased to exist as a separate administrative unit.
