Zarra is a municipality in the Valencian Community of eastern Spain. It is the smallest of the seven villages that make up the comarca (county) of Valle de Cofrentes.
The Valle de Cofrentes lies in the interior of the province of Valencia, near the border with Castilla-La Mancha, in a mountainous area drained by the Cabriel and Júcar river systems. As the smallest settlement in its comarca, Zarra is a small, rural municipality typical of Spain's sparsely populated inland Valencian interior.
Its status as the least populous of the seven Valle de Cofrentes villages is its most distinctive characteristic within the region.
