Xirivella, also known as Chirivella, is a town and municipality located in the Valencian Community of Spain. It is situated in the region of Valencia and shares borders with the city of Valencia, Alaquàs, Picanya, and Mislata.
The geography of the municipality is defined by its division by the Turia river and the V-30 motorway. The area known as the La Luz district is situated on the eastern side of the river. Since June 2012, a bridge has been in place to connect these two sections across the motorway.
A notable local issue affecting the municipality is noise pollution resulting from its proximity to the Valencia Airport.
