Villargordo del Cabriel is a municipality in the comarca of Requena-Utiel, in the Valencian Community of Spain. It is located in the province of Valencia, in the eastern part of the country.
The municipality takes part of its name from the Cabriel River, which flows through the area and forms part of the boundary between the Valencian Community and the neighbouring region of Castilla-La Mancha. Requena-Utiel is an inland comarca on the western edge of the province of Valencia, bordering Castilla-La Mancha.
As a municipality, Villargordo del Cabriel is one of the local administrative units that make up the comarca of Requena-Utiel within the Valencian Community.
