Sueca is a town and municipality located in the Valencian Community of eastern Spain. It is situated on the left bank of the river Xúquer. While the main town center is separated from the Mediterranean Sea by the Serra de Cullera, the municipality itself possesses approximately 7 kilometers of coastline.
The region's architecture reflects Moorish influences, evidenced by features such as horseshoe arches, view-turrets (miradors), and flat roofs. Additionally, the area maintains an irrigation system that dates back to the Moorish period. The local economy is primarily centered on rice processing, though the region also exports oranges.
