Simat de la Valldigna is a municipality in the comarca of Safor, in the Valencian Community of eastern Spain. It lies in the province of Valencia, within the autonomous community that also includes the provinces of Alicante and Castellón.
The town is located roughly 50 kilometres from the city of Valencia, and about 20 kilometres from both Cullera and Gandia. It is also situated near the towns of Xàtiva and Alzira, placing it in the southern part of the Valencian Community, not far from the Mediterranean coast.
Its position among these larger settlements makes it part of the broader Safor district, a comarca centred on the coastal town of Gandia. The municipality is one of several inland towns in the region that sit within reach of the area's main urban centres.
