Serra is a municipality in the comarca of Camp de Túria, in the Valencian Community of eastern Spain. It lies inland from the city of Valencia, within the province of Valencia, in a comarca whose name refers to the Turia river corridor that runs through the area.
As a municipality, Serra is one of the local administrative units that make up the Camp de Túria comarca, a district centred on the town of Llíria. The Valencian Community is an autonomous community on Spain's eastern Mediterranean coast, and Camp de Túria is one of its inland comarcas rather than one of the coastal districts.
The settlement's location in the hills north-west of Valencia places it among the smaller inland municipalities of the region, in contrast to the densely populated coastal plain around the city of Valencia itself. Its name is shared with other places in the Spanish-speaking world, but this Serra is specifically the Valencian municipality in Camp de Túria.
