Santa Pola is a coastal town and municipality situated in the Baix Vinalopó comarca within the Valencian Community of Spain. Located along the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, the municipality covers a total area of 58.6 km² (23 sq mi).
The municipality has a population of 36,174 inhabitants. This figure includes approximately 6,000 residents who live in the nearby town of Gran Alacant.
